EDITOR’S NOTE: As the global pandemic continues to be a threat to the travel industry. The Caribbean Tourism Organization, like other such organizations, is hoping COVID-19 vaccinations will provide the reprieve the industry desperately needs.

In this edition, #IslandsCaribbean explores vaccine passports for the Caribbean. OneLedger, a Barbados-based company, has come up with a solution. But, heavy-weights such as the Mayo Clinic, Microsoft, and Oracle are working on their own. And, Jamaica’s two International Airports, have partnered with TPT Global Tech, Inc. for another. Meanwhile, the Bahamas government is doing research on the matter.
