EDITOR’S NOTE: Last month, #EduCaribbean featured Guyana. We do the same again in this issue. Developments presented can be split between high school and higher education. Two articles are presented for the former and three for the latter.

The headline titled “Success for Guyanese student-athletes over the weekend”, from Kaieteur News, describes podium finishes of three female Guyanese student-athletes at the start of the U.S. National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division One Track and Field season.

Otherwise, the University of Guyana has its first online convocation ceremony with a record number of prospective graduands, and its first cohort for its Doctoral Programme in Biodiversity. And, contractor is sued for allegedly delaying completion of dormitories.

Finally, articles on high schools both come from iNews Guyana and both concern construction matters. In the first, claims of a former education Minister of installing smart classrooms is found to be false. And, a new secondary school is proposed for Prospect.
